Perfume advert reflection

My perfume advert had used stop motion animation. Stop motion animation is a filming technique, when you take pictures of an object, each time the object will be moving a bit at every shot. When it is played all together it results in a video with the images moving.

For my perfume advert I had decided to make up my own perfume website called Scents.com. This website would sell expensive perfumes such as  Cartier, Channel and Joe Malone. The perfume website is called scents and I used a Didot font which gives an elegant look to the advert. The song I used the advert is called ‘Diamonds’ by (Rihanna, 2012) and diamonds can connote wealth. I think I done well at making a narrative for the advert. This is because I have used a male and a female figure. When the girl walks by the boy starts to turn his head and notice her scent and he then starts to wave at her and the both start to walk towards each other. The message that this advert is putting out is that you will start to become more noticeable when you wear and buy perfume from  the website Scents.com.

However, I could have included a variety of different camera angles. This is because the people who are watching the advert would start to become more engaged in the advert, as their eyes won't just be looking at one place. Therefore, it makes the video less boring for them to watch.
